Welcome to ZoomBengals! - We are a TICA registered cattery!
We are a somewhat new cattery whom has recently started breeding Bengals in 2017. We have started small with 1 male and 3 females but have expanded and currently have 3 males and 12 females. We have dedicated so much time and effort into them that we have created our entire basement into a cattery with stud rooms and nurseries. We take them on walks on a leash as they like to see birds and chase grasshoppers but these are my babies and get very spoiled!
A little bit about my Bengals:
They are very much dog like in personality. They are curious, mischievous and often get into trouble. This isn't your average housecat. My Bengals have learned to open cabinets, open doors, and they LOVE to knock over the trash cans - to play in them. Doing some research is best if you are looking to purchase a Bengal cat. Prior to me owning them I was told the good and the bad. I can only tell you what I know from experience.
I was told they are not cuddly or affectionate.....I find this FALSE. My cats are always fighting for space in my lap.
I was told they can be mean.....I find this FALSE. I have two kids (4yrs and 5yrs old), dogs and others cats and I have NEVER had any issues at all with them. All of our kittens are well socialized with my family and other pets before leaving also.
I was told they love water......I find this TRUE. I had regular water bowls for them until they kept playing in them and knocking them over. I have since purchased a water fountain for them which has a filter and it works so much better!
Purchasing a Kitten;
Our kittens will come vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated, fecal tested, microchipped and spayed/neutered! We do sell breeder kittens to established catteries. Please understand that you cant just buy a breeder kitten from us if you have the money, you have to be approved. Under no circumstances do we believe these cats are to be outdoors, or placed in pens as breeding machines and will only sell to TICA registered catteries whom house their cats indoors.
We do NOT ship any kittens by plane unless they go with a flight nanny in the cabin and we do use ground shippers. Ground shippers are people who are verified pet transporters who personally deliver the cat to you. They can drive them to your doorstep or meet in public. Depending on location this can cost anywhere from $200-$400. If you would like to hire your own shipper you can also do that. I recommend citizenshipper.com. Any kitten that is being transported over state lines by a shipper will have a health certificate completed by our veterinarian.
Kittens can not go to their new home until they are 12 weeks old OR they have two sets of FVRCP vaccinations. Sorry no exceptions! This is a rule put in place through TICA and must be enforced by all TICA registered catteries.
***There is a $300 deposit to hold a kitten of your choice and the remaining is due at pick up. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. This ensures you are serious on purchasing the kitten as we will have to turn other potential buyers away after the deposit is made.***
